Not so much a soccer player herself growing up, Maria found herself firmly in the mix of "The Beautiful Game" when BOTH of her multi-sport sons decided that THIS was the game for them! Student athletes of Christian Brothers College High School, each of her soccer players found themselves with very different COVID experiences - one in his senior high school year, while the other a freshman - and the whole family learning how to navigate along the way. Though Angie doesn’t do "sports with running", she finds herself running to all kinds of practices, games, and more with her active soccer players - and speaks candidly on the challenges of doing so as a single mom with a less-than-willing co-parent.
